Rio De Janeiro, Brazil’s annual music festival, Rock In Rio, is just about to come to a close but not before they’ve received hot performances from Maroon 5 andColdplay. The bands played the penultimate night of Rock In Rio 2011 and rocked the stage with their sets that would total over two hours of live music combined.
Adam Levine and the men from Maroon 5 were up first. They started the concert out with their smash single,Moves Like Jagger, and would continue to play nothing but hits from their multiple albums. Songs on their setlist included Sunday MorningMiseryHarder To BreatheThis LoveShe Will Be Loved and more.
Closing out the night was Coldplay. The British rockers opened with Hurts Like Heaven from their new album, Mylo Xyloto, and continued on with familiar songs like YellowViva La VidaIn My PlaceParadiseThe Scientist and more.
Maroon 5 and Coldplay are the latest artists to play Rock In Rio 2011. Just the night before, Shakira dazzled the audience with a performance and Ke$haKaty Perry and Rihanna have all played earlier in the festival.
