Kentucky State Fair announces 2011 Main Stage concert lineup

The Kentucky State Fair on Thursday announced the acts for its Main Stage concert lineup this August, including shows by Lady Antebellum, Def Leppard, Jason Aldean, Train and Maroon 5.
Here are the details:
Thursday, Aug. 18: Lady Antebellum with special guest Lee Brice. The Grammy Award-winning trio Lady Antebellum will open the concert lineup with its Need You Now 2011 Tour. The troupe recently took home five gramophone statuettes during the 2011
, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year. Country newcomer Brice’s fourth-ever single, “Love Like Crazy,” was the longest-charting song in the history of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
Friday, Aug. 19: Def Leppard with special guest Heart . The British hard-rock band Def Leppard was ranked No. 31 in VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock" and ranked No. 70 in "100 Greatest Artists Of All Time." Heart sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson hit the charts in the ‘70s and ‘80s with hits like "Crazy on You," "Barracuda," "Straight On," “What About Love” and “Alone.”
Saturday, Aug. 20: Jason Aldean with special guests Chris Young & Thompson Square. Country rocker Aldean was named the Top Male Country Artist of 2010 and the Top Independent Artist of 2010 by Billboard. Three of Young’s singles have reached No. 1 on the Billboard country singles chart. The husband-wife duo Thompson Square has the No. 1 song “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” on Billboard’s country singles chart.
Sunday, Aug. 28: Maroon 5 and Train. Train’s fifth studio album, “Save Me San Francisco,” has become the biggest release of the band’s 16-year career. The lead single, “Hey Soul Sister,” became the top-selling track on iTunes in 2010. Maroon 5, part of the pregame festivities for Super Bowl XLV in February, will co-headline, performing hits from the group’s third studio album, “Hands All Over.”All concert tickets will include admission to the Kentucky State Fair and a facility fee.
