Birdman and YMCMB aren't slowing down their recent signing spree, announcing their second new signing in less than a week, singer-songwriter PJ Morton.
After having a successful year with one of 2011's hottest pop rock groups that is Maroon 5, with the radio hit "Moves Like Jagger", running a spot as a keyboardist, and featuring in his first premier song "Is Anybody Out There", he is finally signed to one of the biggest record labels in the district.
"I’m very happy to be a part of such a force in the music industry," said Morton of the signing. "Not only that, but a label that promotes being creative and being who you are. I couldn’t have asked for more."
YMCMB's newest recruits suggest a new focus for the label, with other new signee, formerAmerican Idol contestant Chris Richardson, also being from a pop music background.
