Billboard Calls Maroon 5 'Stepping Out Of Their Element' on Hunger Games Soundtrack

Billboard magazine via just got their reviews in this Tuesday (March 20, 2012) when The Hunger Games Soundtrack was released to the web. Billboard critics had a few things to say about the new tracks on the soundtrack and what artists surprised and disappointed them. Good thing pop group Maroon 5 was not one of those disappointments. The band's newly recorded song featuring indie artist Rozzi Crane "Come Away to the Water" was  featured on the soundtrack. Billboard said about the song:

"Another artist stepping out of their element: Adam Levine slows down his "Jagger" instincts and acts as a siren alongside Rozzi Crane by beckoning a "little lamb" to the "slaughter."

The soundtrack for The Hunger Games was released this last Tuesday. You can get it for $11.99 on iTuens here:

Billboard also said that the movie album may reach the number-one spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 next week.
