Maroon 5's new single "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa, has been looking successful on the charts lately since its debuts on the Billboard charts 4 weeks ago. The track made history with the Pop Songs chart, entered in the top 3 of the Billboard Hot 100, and grooved it's way towards the top ten on the Adult Pop Songs chart faster than any other song since Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" entered in early 2009.

The single approaches the Adult Contemporary chart this week for the first time at No. 26, following the chart's other debut of Jon Mayer's "Shadow Days" and the greatest gainer of the week, on that chart, being "Drive By" by pop-rock group Train.

The song is said to do successful this coming sales week on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, ranking the best top 40 radio airplay projections in the past week, with "Payphone" finally entering the top ten after three weeks out of the position.
