If you have been following Maroon 5 and their incredible, diverse music for a while now, almost a decade, than you know that the pop-rock group's breakthrough record was their 2004 smash hit "This Love", the lead mainstream single from their debut album Songs About Jane. On the band's website yesterday, via YouTube, they uploaded a near-30 second behind-the-scenes clip from back in 2002 when the group were recording the record and in the middle of mixing the album. It is said that you can get the full documentary of the band and it's producers recording Songs About Jane in the newly published Songs About Jane: 10 Year Anniversary Boxset, which came out the day of the band's fourth album Overexposed's pre-order issue on April 17, 2012.

In the short clip you can hear frontman Adam Levine calling the riff of "This Love" very "expensive guitar solo", and that it became to be. The song ended up being released in 2004 and peaked in the top 40 in the United States, bolding at No. 5, making the record platinum in several other countries as well. "Expensive right?", he jokes, "We lost you man!", then he says to Mickey Madden, who's recording the clip.
