Music Mondays: Chris Rene Storms the Scene with 'Trouble' Single

Hey guys! We are doing a new weekly blog every Monday called 'Music Mondays. Other bands and artists on Twitter and other social networks are becoming more fluent in the subject, helping promote up and coming or undiscovered talents who's music is more relevant to their sound and what might their fans like.

Today, Monday, July 23rd we shall begin our new segment with Santa Cruz native who was born in California 1982. Chris Rene is an American singer, songwriter, producer, rapper, and musical talent who's been on the music scene for over 15 years, but is making it to contemporary radio with his singles "Trouble" and "Young Homie." He is best known for joining the United States' first season of The X Factor. He came up in third place falling behind other acts such as Josh Krajcik and Melonie Amaro. He released his first independent album titled Soul'd Out in July of 2009 and released the single "Where Do We Go From Here?"  Rene has a very light acoustic, adult contemporary sound like a John Mayer mixed with Andy Grammar tied up with kiddie-sounds of Big Time Rush.

His new single "Trouble", which was released on June 26, 2012 in the United States, surrounds a very attention grabbing soulful sound mixed with a Hawaiin-reggae feel. It was produced by Alex Lambert, Busbsee, and Jason Bonilla as well as Rene. You can listen to the song below & buy it on iTunes!
