'One More Night' Dominated Top Three on Hot 100, Hands All Over 'Takes a Hit' on Albums Chart
Maroon 5's new reggae smash hit "One More Night" has definetaly proven that the pop rock group can release more than just one hit single a year. With their Spring single "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa, slowly fading from the Billboard charts, the new reggae dance-jam is taking over! While "Payphone" falls out of the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart from 8-12, "Night" moves up a single notch from 4-3 on the tally, being Maroon 5's third top three single on the chart in history (following their 2011 single "Moves Like Jagger", which topped the chart for four weeks).
As "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa, is slowly falling off everyone's top ten on the charts, it also takes a fall from 13-19 on the Billboard Ringtone Chart. Over on the Adult Pop Songs chart, the single falls 4-5 on the tally. On the Pop Songs chart it descends 10-13, falls 18-24 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart, slides down 7-9 on the Billboard On-Demands Songs chart, stays hold at No. 6 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart, falls a spot from 9-10 on the Canadian Hot 100 (previously a chart topper), and moves up a notch from 6-5 on the Myspace Audio Chart.
"One More Night" is doing quite well on the charts lately with Maroon 5's world wide tour and promotion for their new album, Overexposed. The new single moves up 14-8 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, debuted at No. 47 on the Latin Pop Songs chart, jumps 16-13 on the Radio Songs chart, moves up 19-11 on the On-Demands Songs chart, stays put at No. 3 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 singles chart, jumps 16-12 on the Adult Pop Songs chart, and slides up 7-2 on the Myspace Audio Chart.
Overexposed, the band's brand new fourth CD, out June 26th, sits at No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 albums chart.
