Maroon 5 is Truly Unstoppable with "One More Night" on the Hot 100
Over the past seven weeks of charting atop the Billboard Hot 100, it's safe to say that pop rock group Maroon 5's irresistible hit single "One More Night" is approaching the longest number-one streak of the year. "Night" spends it's seventh week atop the tally and fights (and wins) it's sixth week battle with Korean rapper PSY's international hit single "Gangnam Style."
On other chart notes, "One More Night" seeks major success on the other Billboard charts as well. Following the announcement of their readying North American Tour, the single's audience impressions have grown off the charts! It easily stays at No. 1 on the Billboard Pop Songs Chart, No. 1 on the Billboard Radio Songs Chart, as well as No. 1 on the Adult Pop Songs and Myspace Audio Charts. That's five charts this week, including the Hot 100. The single remains at No. 2 on the On-Demand Songs chart, stays put at No. 19 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart, also holds at No. 2 on the Canadian Hot 100 singles chart, and pushed up 7-6 on the YouTube chart.
Maroon 5's fourth album Overexposed charts this week at No. 13 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart after moving up from No. 18 on the tally. It descends a couple notches from 13-15 on the Canadian Albums chart, and over on the Digital Albums chart, it moves up a few notches from 15-12.
The band's 2011 hit single "Moves Like Jagger", featuring Christina Aguilera, is gaining recognition this week on the charts. On the On-Demands Songs chart it enters at No. 48 and stays put at No. 27 on the Myspace Audio Chart, being one of three singles charted this week on the tally.
