Maroon 5 Falls Off Top Spot on Hot 100, Unstoppable on Pop & Radio Charts!
Maroon 5's reign atop the Billboard Hot 100 has come to an end after spending nine weeks atop the No. 1 spot on the chart. "One More Night" got the band tied with pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen for having a single that spent the most amount of weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 this year, this case being 9 weeks. Jepsen's single spent 9 consecutive weeks atop the tally throughout this past summer.
"One More Night" continues it's reign atop the Billboard Pop Songs and Radio Songs charts at No. 1. On other chart notes, "Night" stays a hold at No. 4 on the On-Demand Songs chart, moves up 19-16 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Songs chart, re-enters the Latin Pop Songs chart at No. 31, stays hold at No. 91 on the Japan Hot 100, slides up a notch from 4-3 on the Canadian Hot 100, stays hold at No. 1 on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart, and stays atop the Myspace Audio chart at No .1.
The band's fourth studio album, Overexposed, which was dropped on June 26th in the States, had a big sales week last week with it's lowering price and the release of Maroon 5's third single "Daylight." The album falls 15-27 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, falls 13-24 on the Canadian Albums chart, and falls 8-18 on the Billboard Digital Albums chart.
