Daylight Moves Up on Digital Songs Chart

"Daylight" soon to be Maroon 5's greatest digital post album release single?

Maroon 5 is undeniably climbing the charts with each passing week with the single "Daylight", moving up the Billboard Digital Songs chart jumping from 20-13 on the chart. The soft rock track is becoming one of the band's highest selling post album release singles in history since "Moves Like Jagger", featuring Christina Aguilera, was released in 2011, over a year after the release of their 2010 studio set Hands All Over. "Jagger" took approximately eleven weeks before making a mark on the Digital Songs chart, as it is only taking "Daylight" nine weeks since it's radio airplay release date in November.

The Max Martin soft rock produced track is also getting comfortable sitting in the top 40 in charts marketing in over 10 countries around the world. The song entered at No. 19 in Australia according to the A.R.I.A. In other countries "Daylight" sits at No. 8 in Belgium, No. 15 in Canada, No. 11 in New Zealand, No. 5 in South Korea, and of course moving up 25-21 on the Billboard Hot 100 here in the United States. On other chart notes, "Daylight" holds in at No. 17 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, takes a leap from 27-18 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart, jumps 20-13 on the Digital Songs chart, and moves up 15-13 on the Adult Pop Songs chart.

Maroon 5's former nine week No. 1 single "One More Night" spends its second week out of the Billboard Hot 100's top ten at No. 11 again. "Night" is seemingly descending on the charts in the United States except however for the Adult Contemporary Songs chart in which the reggae-pop fused track moves up 8-5 on the tally. On other chart notes, the single falls a spot from 10-11 on the Billboard Pop Songs Chart, falls 5-6 on the Radio Songs chart, descends 27-31 on the Digital Songs chart, spends its second week on the Streaming Songs chart falling 15-16, stays put at No. 16 on the On-Demand Songs chart, and falls 5-7 on the Adult Pop Songs chart. Over in Canada, "One More Night" falls 11-15 on the Canadian Hot 100 singles chart.

The band's 2012 studio album Overexposed spends its thirtieth week on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums chart falling 19-30 on the tally. It became Maroon 5's only album to stay in the top thirty on the Billboard 200 albums chart without leaving the top thirty since the band's 2007 released It Won't Be Soon Before Long spent 34 weeks in the top thirty after debuting at No. 1 on the chart. On other chart notes, Overexposed jumps 18-15 on the Digital Albums chart, and falls 21-25 on the Canadian Albums chart.
