'One More Night' Slowly Falling of Hot 100 Top 10, 'Daylight' Takes Leap
Maroon 5's big win last night at the People's Choice Awards did them good. The band took home the award for Favorite Band competing against the likes of No Doubt and Green Day. The pop rock band's former 9 week No. 1 hit single "One More Night" is slowly descending off the top ten positions on the Billboard Hot 100. This week "Night" falls a notch 8-9, as for the past four weeks it's descended a single spot each week from No. 3.
On other chart notes, "One More Night" moves up 10-7 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, stays put and No. 4 on the Radio Songs chart, descends from 11-15 on the Digital Songs chart, falls 12-15 on the Billboard On-Demand Songs chart, gains a spot 15-14 on the Ringtone's Chart, holds at No. 11 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart, falls a spot from 11-12 on the Canadian Hot 100 singles chart, and stays hold at No. 5 on the Adult Pop Songs chart.
For the band's newest single "Daylight", it has shown major positive reactions over the past few weeks. On the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart "Daylight" takes a leap from No. 42 to 34 on the chart. On other chart notes for "Daylight", the soft rock tune moves up 19-18 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, jumps 40-33 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart, also jumps 44-33 on the Digital Songs chart, moves up 30-25 on the Canadian Hot 100 singles chart, and last but not least, it moves up 18-17 on the Adult Pop Songs chart.
Maroon 5's Grammy nominated fourth album, Overexposed it moves up 19-17 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart after a moderately digital success rate in this past week's online sales. On other chart notes, the pop fix album re-enters the Digital Albums chart at No. 16 after falling from No. 28 two weeks prior to this sales week.
