'Songs About Jane' Re-Enters on Billboard 200, 'Daylight' Climbs Up Hot 100
"Daylight" is predicted to break the Hot 100's Top 10 sooner than later
As Maroon 5's new single "Daylight" moves up the charts, the band's debut album Songs About Jane finds itself re-entering the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart. "Daylight" jumps 21-18 on the Billboard Hot 100 on its eighth week on the chart. At this rate, the single will find itself in the Top 10 on the Hot 100 in a matter of three to four weeks depending on its radio audience gaining. Meanwhile, on the Billboard 200, 'SAJ' makes an appearance on the tally coming in at No. 179. The 2002 album was lowered in price on iTunes Store under the Best of Pop: 2000's category.
On other chart notes, Maroon 5's third Overexposed single "Daylight" find itself debuting at No. 31 on the Billboard Streaming Songs chart, jumping 18-15 on the Radio Songs chart, moving up 13-9 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart, sliding up 17-11, and climbing up 13-12 on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart. The song has yet to peak the Top 25 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart.
Maroon 5's recent 9 week No. 1 running single "One More Night" falls a whoppin' 11-17 on the Billboard Hot 100. The reggae pop Max Martin-produced track spent the last two weeks out of the Hot 100's Top 10 stuck at No. 11, this week making its biggest fall in it's chart history. On other chart notes, the single descends 15-18 on the Streaming Songs chart, falls 31-33 on the Digital Songs chart, descends 6-10 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart, falls 16-20 on the On-Demand Songs chart, descends 11-15 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, and stays put at No. 5 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart. The band's 2012 debut "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa, still stands strong falling 6-10 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart as well.
