Maroon 5 is spending the early portion of July rehearsing and crafting for the highly anticipated Honda Civic Tour this summer and fall. Yesterday, guitarist James Valentine tweeted a photo of his fellow band mates Adam Levine and touring member Sam Farrar of Phantom Planet playing the guitar in a gymnasium.
The nationwide tour will kick off in less than a month on August 1 in Maryland Heights, Missouri at the famous Verizon Wireless Amphitheater with special guests Kelly Clarkson and Rozzi Crane. The tour will extend until October 6 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California.
Other musical guests include PJ Morton who is currently Maroon 5's keyboardist replacing former member Jesse Carmichael and singer Tony Lucca who has worked with Adam Levine on NBC's hit show The Voice and has been signed under Levine's freshly published record label, 222 Records and is releasing his new album this month titled 'With the Whole World Watching.'
Next year, Maroon 5 will be going overseas in support of their latest album 'Overexposed' in Europe and the United Kingdom with pop singer Robin Thicke, who will be releasing his album in the U.K. on July 9th titled 'Blurred Lines.'
