It has happened again, folks! This week, pop rock band Maroon 5 has topped the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart moving up 3-1 on the tally with their dance-pop hit single "Love Somebody." To date, the Los Angeles-based band has scored 9 No. 1 hits on the Adult Pop Songs chart since the band topped the chart in 2004 with their monster hit single "This Love." Maroon 5's fourth album Overexposed has spawned 4 singles in which all have topped the AT40 chart and has been a top 40 hit in other countries.

On other chart notes, "Love Somebody" creeps up from 14-12 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart (hopefully charting in the top 10 in two weeks), moves up 7-5 on the Radio Songs chart, falls 11-12 on the Digital Songs chart, jumps up 16-12 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart, and moves up 11-9 on the Pop Songs chart.
