The Voice Results Recap: Team Adam is Unstoppable

Adam Levine with top 10 The Voice contestant Kat Perkins.
Adam Levine's team is untouchable as all 3 move on to next week's live shows

The Voice's first ever live results show took place today (Tuesday, Apr. 22) on NBC as the top 12 were shaped in to the top 10. A great forecast for Team Adam fans, contestants Delvin Choice, Kat Perkins, and Christina Grimmie were saved on tonight's live elimination episode. Unfortunately for Team Shakira and Usher, contestants Dani Moz who performed Pink and Nate Ruess' "Just Give Me a Reason and T.J. Wilkins who played "Waiting on the World To Change" by John Mayer got voted off by America, leaving Shak and Ush with only 2 contestants on their teams. Tonight's save, however, went to Team Shakira's Tess Boyer who performed "I'll Be There For You" last night.

Tonight's performances consisted of Shakira performing her latest single "Empire" from her self-titled album, Adam Levine and his team Christina, Delvin, and Kat playing Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer", and Blake Shelton and his team performing Travis Tritt's classic "Put Some Drive In Your Country."

Last night on Team Adam, Christina Grimmie performed Katy Perry and Juicy J's chart topper "Dark Horse" which instantly shot to the top 10 on the iTunes Store chart. Delvin Choice performed "Unchained Melody" by Alex North while Kat Perkins rocked Heart's "Magic Man."

The Voice top 10 live shows start next week on Monday at 8/7c only on NBC!
