Maroon 5 to Perform on Saturday Night Live

Maroon 5 will return to the SNL stage in October

Next month, pop rockers Maroon 5 will be performing on Saturday Night Live's second episode of their 40th season. On October 4, satarical stand-up comedian and actress Sarah Silverman will be hosting while Maroon 5 perform their hit singles "Maps" and "Animals", from their newest album, V.

Multi-platinum, 3-time GRAMMY-Award winning band Maroon 5 is excited to confirm that they will return for their fifth appearance as musical guest on Saturday Night Live, in support of V. Also, Billboard confirmed that Maroon 5 broke the world record for most No. 1's on the Adult Top 40 chart with their V lead single, "Maps", which scored them their 9th number-one on the tally. Billboard magazine crowned Maroon 5's new album, V, No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 as well, scoring themselves their 2nd No. 1 album to date following their 2007 effort, It Won't Be Soon Before Long.
