Maroon 5 Reached Top 5 On Hot 100 With 'Animals'

Maroon 5 scores top 5 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Animals"

Maroon 5 has made yet another achievement this week over on the Billboard charts, and that's roaring on to the Hot 100's top 5 spots with "Animals." The single roared from 7-5 on the tally this week, after spending 3 weeks at No. 7 on the Hot 100.

According to Billboard, "Animals" charges 7-5 on the Hot 100, adding top Airplay Gainer honors for a third consecutive week; the song enters the Radio Songs top five, roaring 14-9 (80 million, up 31 percent). The track is Maroon 5's 10th Radio Songs top 10, tying the Adam Levine-led band with Destiny's Child for the most top 10s among groups in the chart's 24-year archives. (Mariah Carey leads all acts with 23 top 10s.)
