Maroon 5's highly anticipated song, "Don't Want to Know", now finally has a release date.

It has been confirmed that "Don't Want to Know", which is not a lead single to Maroon 5's sixth studio album, as earlier reported, is set to be released on October 14 to digital retailers (iTunes, Google Play, Spotify), and to radio airplay on October 18. The single will also feature a rap verse from Interscope Records labelmate Kendrick Lamar.

Maroon 5 have reportedly began pre-production for their sixth full-length studio effort, in which guitarist James Valentine revealed that the band will be recording in the studio beginning later this year, going into 2017.

A music video was reportedly shot in downtown Los Angeles, California in late August for "Don't Want to Know", and will star Vince Vaughn, a popular film actor. The video was directed by David Dobkin, who previously directed Maroon 5's video for "Sugar", off the album V.

  1. So cool song!!Yes!!I want to go to your concert....but.....I miss you ..why live so bad....((

  2. I only pray them to release a non-rap version of this like payphone. I hate collabs

  3. NO!!! I hated the Wiz version of "Payphone". And they didn't even bother to put the solo version of "Payphone" on Overexposed. I at least hope they'll release a solo version of this song on the album or single release. I also hope they add more instruments to the studio track, because the live one seemed like it had too simple of an arrangement.
